Éric Plamondon a grandi au Québec. Il est diplômé de l’université Laval en journalisme et de l’Université du Québec à Montréal en littérature. Il vit à France depuis 1996, longtemps à Bordeaux, aujourd’hui à Fontainebleau. Il est l’auteur d’Aller aux fraises (2021), d’Oyana (2019), de Taqawan (2017), de Donnacona (2017) et de la trilogie 1984 composée de Hongrie-Hollywood Express (2011), Mayonnaise (2012) et Pomme S (2013), trois romans qui ont été finalistes au Prix des libraires du Québec. Taqawan a obtenu le prix France-Québec 2018 et le prix des chroniqueurs Toulouse Polars du Sud. Oyana a reçu le Prix de littérature française Lire en Poche en 2021.
Eric Plamondon a également écrit les textes du livre de photos Petite Vallée (2018) de Claudia Imbert.

Éric Plamondon was born in Quebec on February 13, 1969. He graduated from Laval University in journalism and from the Université du Québec in Montréal in literature. He lives in France (Bordeaux) since 1996 where he worked several years in communication. He is the author of Aller aux fraises (2021), Oyana (2019), Taqawan (2017), Donnacona (2017) and the 1984 trilogy : Hungary-Hollywood Express (2011), Mayonnaise (2012 ) and Pomme S (2013). These three novels made the short list of the Prix des Libraires du Québec. Taqawan won the France-Quebec 2018 literary prize. Oyana received the Prix de littérature française Lire en Poche en 2021.
